Inspiration

I was watching the news tonight, and they had an interview with Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Lady. I found her blog by accident a few months ago, and wondered who she was. At first I thought she was just another fellow Okie and homeschooler with a blog! But then it seemed everybody else knew who she was, except me! But, I've enjoyed reading her blog a few times, and even though I haven't tried all that I've read, I have enjoyed referring to her page for recipes. I think that might be how I found her at first, but not sure. But, in her interview, they talked about how she just started her blog for family to read, never expecting to become famous, but she has! And, honestly, she has inspired me. I originally started blogging so my family could keep up with my life, and what we do, especially in regards to homeschooling. I had seen others have blogs, and thought it seemed exciting! It still does, except when I start feeling overwhelmed, and like I can't do it because there seems to be so many rules, do's and don'ts, groups, carnivals (I still don't know what those are, but have tried to figure it out), etc. Aaahhccckk! So, anyways. It has seemed in the past that not much of anybody, let alone family, was reading my blog. And as soon as I started getting followers, things went haywire around here, even more than they usually are, and I haven't kept up with it. But, watching the Pioneer Lady, and where simply blogging about her life has taken her, has inspired me to get back into this blogging, and see what happens! Maybe I'll get more readers, maybe I can post things that interest, help or inspire people, or maybe nothing will happen at all. The only way for me to find out, is to blog! So, I have a goal. I will try to blog at least once a week. More if I can, or if I come up with something to share, but I will try my best to not do less! Does that sound good?
So, I'll leave it at that for now, and come back later with a brief update on things. Thanks to all you kind ladies who had such thoughtful things to say back during my difficult time of my grandparents passing. I will update more on that later, but do know that your kind words and prayers did bless me! I'm sorry I have failed to say thank you!

God bless!
