New Dr!

A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to get a new Dr for my girls. I haven't needed to take them to see a Dr in over a year, but I know I need a good Pediatrician, better than the one we have had for a little while, and the one's we've had in the past. I seem to have a very difficult time finding a good one. Especially seeing as how I have no choice but to have my kids on Medicaid, and Dr's seem to think that your kids are less than human, and that you're a bad mother because they have this. In fact, it's quite the opposite in my case. I love my kids, but have no other way of being able to acquire health care for them without it. They have various health problems, outside of just normal childhood stuff, and need the healthcare. If I didn't have them on Medicaid, they wouldn't see a Dr. So, I'm trying to provide for my kids the only way I know how. I want a Dr who cares about my kids like a good Dr is supposed to! After all, that's supposed to be the reason they became a Dr, right?

So, I posted a tweeted (which also goes directly to my Facebook & Myspace pages) that I needed to find them a new Dr, and low and behold, two of my awesome cousins posted the Dr they have used for their kids since birth, and a friend of my mom's posted the one she's used for her daughter since birth, and was also her's as a child, who her aunt also works for. Well, their Dr's all turned out to be the same Dr! I took this as a sign from God that He was answering my prayers for a good Dr! So, I immediately switched & got the appointment set for Trinity, which is today!

Now we are about to head to the new Dr, and see about getting an ear tube unstuck from her ear canal. It came out of her ear drum about 1-2 years ago, but has yet to come out of the canal. So, we'll see how it all goes!
