A little update

I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to work when I try to send my pics directly from my phone to my blog. If I can get that to work, then I could update this more often! I have so many pics of things the girls are doing that I want to put on here! I came up with a good idea, after taking so many pics of them and what they do, that to help with keeping records of the things they learn, places they go, etc, I can make sort of a photo record of their homeschooling! LOL. As much as I love to write, I don't seem to have the time lately. If I can throw some of their pics on here with a little info on what they're doing, then, voila! A journal! Okay, so it seems like a good idea, if I can ever get it to work! I still don't think anybody reads this thing. If you do, would you post a comment once in a while, just to let me know you are? I would love to know that somebody does! You don't even have to sign up for blogger (I don't think, I tried to set my blog up that way) to comment, and maybe even to follow? I think. Anyways. Not trying to seem desperate or anything! LOL.

Okay, here's a few quick things before I go cook dinner, start baths and laundry, paying bills, etc. However much I can get done before bed tonight.

We went to a Monarch butterfly class last Friday and made a butterfly net. I got some pics on my phone. We've caught some butterflies, just no Monarchs yet.

The girls entered stuff in the fair this year. Here's the info:

Faith: No-bake cookies, 5th place (we ran out of time, and the peanut butter we used didn't work to well, and they were too crumbly, so 5th was good. Will do better next year though!

Brownies, 3rd place

Pillow made from Recycled blue jeans, 5th place

Trinity: Cupcakes (with blue frosting, her favorite color), 1st place

Peanut Butter cookies, 4th place

I decided to join the HOM Keepers at Home group for now. Seeing as how they changed the days they have the meetings, and since they won't always meet in Norman (yay!). My plate is so full, and my life a bit disorganized, that I really don't think I can handle being responsible for a whole group right now. I'm trying really hard to get a lot of things in order, and feel that it's best that I focus on these things right now. Maybe in the future I will, especially once I get more of an idea of how the group works!

This Saturday, me & the girls, my mom & her man (my future step-dad & current boss) are going to the Pumpkin Patch with the HOM group! I'm excited. We're gonna roast hot dogs & marshmallows over a campfire (& make smore's of coarse!), go on a hay ride, do a maze, etc. It'll be fun!

Okay, that's all I can think of for now. Hopefully, I can get this picture thing to work, and post some of the awesome pics I have!
