Faith is runner up in Spelling Bee

Faith was in the Spelling Bee with other homeschoolers today in Edmond. There were 13 kids in the Pee Wee Bee, and Faith made it to runner up! It was so close between her and another girl, and was hard to tell who was going to win, because they both did so well! She made a mistake on the last word she was given, but, that's okay, because she still gets to go on to the Regional Spelling Bee, and represent homeschoolers in our area! Even though, it is a written test for the regional, I still see it as a big deal, lol. I'm so excited, I couldn't wait to brag on her and let everyone know, she's the runner up! Yay! Now hopefully, with lots more practice and determination, she will make it to the state competition! Be praying for her! 

She was so nervous when we got there, she couldn't stop shaking. But she warmed up as it went further along. It got down to her and one other girl, and she seemed pretty comfortable by that time. Maybe too comfortable? Either way, she made it! She got a certificate for participation, and will receive another Certificate of Merit for being the runner up when she goes to do the regional. 

Anyways, I have to go make dinner, then get my mom, then visit my grandparents, so, I will write more later!
