I'm interested in winning this! She has made some beautiful head covers! This is something that I'm learning and praying about, and feel it's something God might want me to do. The verses in the Bible are very clear on this fact. The verses are found in 1 Corinthians 11:3-16. The last verse has confused me a bit, but I think it's becoming more clear the more I research it. I'm still praying for the Lords leading in this. Maybe, the question is more, should it be worn all the time, or at certain times? Because it says in verse 1 Corin 11:5: "But a woman dishonors her head if she prays or prophesies without a covering on her head", and 1 Thess 5:17 says "never stop praying." So, if we should never stop praying, than does that mean we should never stop wearing a head covering?
I know that this isn't an issue that will affect my salvation, send me to hell if I don't do it. But it is something that I believe should be based on a personal conviction. That if we want to honor our head (not our physical head, but our spiritual one), and we are to be a good witness to the angels; if we love God more than ourselves and care more about doing what is right, than we will do it. Again, like I say about so many things, not out of a religious obligation, but out of love.
